Bengaluru: Kadugondanahalli police have arrested three interstate drug dealers who were selling drugs to customers on bounce bikes. The accused are Manipur-based Mohammad Sajid Khan, Mohammed Azad and Sapam Seetal Kumar Singh. 130 grams of heroin, 2480 ecstasy pills worth 60 lakhs were seized from them. The accused had come to the capital three years ago to seek work. Mohammed Sajid Khan and Mohammed Azad lived in Kammanahalli and worked in chicken shops. The accused imported drugs from Myanmar. They had been transporting heroin from Guwahati by concealing it in mixer grinder boxes and soapboxes. They then contacted customers from their own network, packed them in soapboxes and sold them. The accused were carrying drugs on bounce bikes concealed in soapboxes to avoid suspicion. When dealing with peddlers, drugs were dealt with using Manipuri language passwords. Dr Sharanappa, DCP of the city’s east wing, said they were targeting college students of mostly Northeast Indian origin.
