Mumbai: Man loots passengers after offering them tea spiked with drugs, arrested

Mumbai: The Bandra railway police have caught hold of a man, accused of offering tea spiked with drugs to fellow passengers at railway stations in the city, and fleeing with their valuables after rendering them unconscious.The incident came to light when one Deepak Sharma, who was travelling to Bikaner in Rajasthan from Bandra Terminus was duped in a similar fashion.The accused, identified as Hamid Khan, spotted Sharma waiting for his train in the waiting room and decided to strike at the right opportunity. He engaged in small talk with Sharma and soon befriended him, post which he urgedhim to go to a nearby stall and get some tea. While at the stall, Khan spiked Sharma’s tea with some drugs, which left the latter unconscious. Grabbing the opportunity, Khan stole Sharma’s valuables and fled the spot
