Mumbai: A woman residing in Nalasopara was gang-raped by two youths under the pretence of getting her a job, police informed on Monday.The 37-year-old victim, a resident of Nalasopara East, worked in the Global City area of Virar as a cook. There, she was befriended by one of the accused in the case, who worked as a delivery boy for online retail giant Amazon.The man promised to get her placed with a good company in the city and due to the prospect of a better job, the woman agreed to go with him. In February, the accused then took the woman to a flat in Hanuman Nagar,Nalasopara West, and upon reaching there, the victim saw that another man already present inside. There were bruise marks on her neck and her ornaments and mobile phone were missing, police said.Both of them then threatened her and assaulted her sexually The victim in her complaint revealed that she was raped four times by both men. They also shared her contact number with another person, who then started calling and harassing her for having an intimate relationship.The police have nabbed the two accused and the search for the third person is underway. The duo has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for sexually abusing the woman.
